An air content meter is used to determine the air content in fresh concrete.
This is important to ensure that the concrete has the desired properties, especially with regard to frost resistance and durability.
Measurement of air content:
Air content meters measure the percentage of air present in the concrete. This can affect the concrete’s strength and resistance to cracking.
They are supplied as standard with calibration equipment and a water bottle.
Most common product is the 8 liter model.
