On behalf of Kamet-Röbäcks, Erik Sørensen, Mikko Rautio, and Jarkko Manninen played a crucial part in the project. Sørensen had previously worked with Anleggsbetong’s representative Øyvind Alseth, so it was natural for them to start discussions about different equipment and solutions for Anleggsbetong.
“When the company needed a new mobile concrete plant, I invited Alseth to have a viewing of our Express plant in Helsinki. He was happy with what he saw, and we were also able to provide them a satisfactory timetable about the delivery”, Sørensen says.
The delivery was comprehensive, as Rautio explains:
“We delivered an Express 100 concrete plant for Anleggsbetong. The overall delivery included four aggregate silos, two binder silos and our turbo heating system. Because the concrete plant is in Norway, it was important to ensure that the plant will work in very extreme weather conditions such as cold weather. Our Express including turbo heating system has been tested in such conditions.”
Besides the plant and additional accessories, Kamet-Röbäcks also took care of the freight, installation and test run of the plant.
“Overall, this project took only 19 weeks to complete from the first contact to the start of the concrete production, and the plant is now up and running”.

The project was a bit more challenging than usual, because it had to be installed on an island. Understandably, truck transportation was not sufficient and Kamet-Röbäcks also took care of the loading and unloading of the ship in Alta and on Sørøy island.
“Originally the plan was to drive the trucks on a ferry, but the maximum capacity of the ferry was not enough for this kind of delivery. Luckily, Anleggsbetong was able to rent a ship for the transportation”, Manninen tells.
The installation project of the plant went smoothly after it was delivered to the island.
“The collaboration with Anleggsbetong went well and whatever we had agreed upon in mutual understanding was carried through as planned.”
Kamet-Röbäcks’ Express concrete plant is quick to assemble; the process took about seven days.
“Of course, we stayed on the island for a couple of more days to be sure that the plant is working as it should”, Manninen explains.
Alseth compliments Manninen:
“Jarkko really knows these plants; he is a true professional, who knows what is important in the assembly process.”
For Anleggsbetong, the mobility of the plant was the most important feature, especially considering their future projects. Overall, the project progressed quickly from the start.
“I had the opportunity to travel to Finland, meet pleasant Kamet-Röbäcks professionals, and see a similar plant in action. The plant has many good solutions, and the price was within expectations. We are very happy with the plant, and we can recommend Kamet-Röbäcks for other companies that need mobile concrete plants”, Alseth ends.
